Locations / Divisions -
- Players some times choose to play in multiple divisions. Although divisions compete on different days or at different rinks, conflicts may arise if players choose to participate in two divisions when the final rounds begin. Each division will host its own playoffs, with standings determining which teams advance to the finals. Regardless of preferred rinks, the finals may require players to compete at a different location.
- In the event one or more divisions do not fill we will merge the lesser division to the greater one at the rink closest to desired location. In the event that location/day of the week do not work a refund less fees will be granted.

Warchief /Warchieftess Responsibilities -
- Each team will be assigned a “Warchief” or "War Chieftess" in lieu of “Captain.” The Warchief/Warchieftess is responsible for making sure that each and every player accepts or declines each session. Communicate with the MCHL staff as to how many subs are needed, if a goalie is needed. The Warchief/Warchieftess will be given an Iron on W for their Jersey. Warchief/Warchieftess will also be responsible to hand out sub jerseys to whoever may be subbing that session. They will be financially responsible for these jerseys if they are not returned. At the end of the season, if the Warchief has lived up to these responsibilities, they will receive a discount code for two free pickups.
Jerseys -
- Everyone must wear their team jerseys and MCHL-approved socks. We want to ensure the pictures come out great and make everyone look their best!
- When applicable, custom jerseys are available for purchase. If you were part of a team in the previous season, you are exclusively permitted to purchase a custom jersey specifically for that team otherwise you will be assigned to a team. This is the sole method to secure your position on that particular team.
Skill Level -
- This league is designed for individuals at the Beginners-Lower C level. That being said, in the event we still require additional players to fill out roster MCHL reserves the right to extend invitations to higher level skaters. Goalie skill level can be up to Inter C.
Waiver Wire / Game Day Subs -
- Our goal is to ensure that substitute players don't overpower the game. Nonetheless, if a more skilled player on the team is unavailable, we'll aim to substitute them with someone of a comparable skill level. In the event that a substitute is needed because a less experienced player is absent, we might opt not to use a substitute. This would result in your team playing with one fewer player.
Goalies -
- We aim to have the same goalies for the entire season. This won’t always be the case, but we will make every effort to find full-season goalies for each team. Please keep in mind that people have lives, stuff comes up and we will do our best to keep the parity as close as possible.
